Background
Thomas' Music started life as a Piano, Organ, Phonograph and Musical warehouse on the corner of Exhibition and Bourke Streets in Melbourne on July 1922.
In 1994 Thomas' moved further up the hill towards Parliament House, to 31 Bourke Street, Melbourne, where it currently resides. The current building was originally built as the first State Savings Bank of Victoria in 1902. Its original Australiana Art Deco plaster ceiling has been painstakingly restored complete with original light well, enhancing the ambience of the store.
